T.I. and 50 Cent Speak Out in Support of Gay Marriage

Recently, President Obama changed his stance on gay marriage and rappers T.I. and 50 Cent have both taken the opportunity to speak out in support of gay marriage. It’s refreshing to see independent thought and activism from some of hip hop’s heaviest hitters in a community where the issue of gay marriage is largely ignored.

If you don’t support gay marriage, take a moment to reflect on the following question: When did you deciede you were heterosexual?

Easy answer, you never decided - you were simply born that way. Homosexuality is not a choice and it’s downright silly to believe that it is. Legalize gay marriage.

Marty McFly Interview | LyricsAndLines.com

Marty McFly is an up-and-coming rapper from Colorado who dropped his first mixtape, Mileflyness just under a month ago. We were lucky enough to speak with Marty about this project, his influences, his favorite lines, and more.

Everything shapes you and the way you react to it, stuff either makes you stronger and you deal with things better as you get older, or you don’t. Man that’s just life. Everybody’s got their own struggles, no matter who you are.

MMG Press Conference: Summary

Earlier today, Ricky Rozay gathered some of hip hop’s biggest names in New York to announce a variety of exciting news. The biggest and most interesting being that Omarion officially inked a deal with MMG and changed his name to Maybach O.

My thoughts on that are pretty clear.

Birdman Signs DJ Khaled & Ace Hood to Cash Money Records

Rap’s ugliest mogul, Birdman is at it again. This week in an interview with MTV News the #1 Stunna disclosed that he recently signed DJ Khaled’s We The Best imprint to Cash Money Records. More important than this signing, is the extras that come with it. Long time grinder and rising star Ace Hood; who recently dropped Starvation, will now be under the direction of Birdman and his Cash Money cronies.

It’s a positive thing that Ace Hood will finally get the exposure he’s long deserved, I just wish it was under the direction of someone else other than Cash Money. Yes, they’ll help Ace Hood produce hits but more than likely they’ll take creative control away from him and water down his work. Overall, disappointed to see this signing.
